  1. Psychic Powers

45. (Q) Since I am definitely drawn to occult things, how can I free myself from the fear instilled by an early horoscope which stated that in turning to anything psychic I might open myself to the influences of black magic?
(A) No better formula may be given than this: Read Deuteronomy 30th, as being directed to thee BY those influences ye helped establish among a great peoples.

Then study and analyze John 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th. Not as rote, again, but as a PRACTICAL experience, as may be the experience of any soul that seeks to make that creative force, God, as manifested there, the rule of the life.

No greater psychic lived than Jesus of Nazareth. No greater activity was manifested than by the entity itself in that directing of the household of its own sons; two of which practised black magic and were destroyed. These build that fear. In Him it is eradicated. (2630-1)


37. (Q) How must I develop my psychic powers?
(A) As has been given, turn within. Do not seek, do not trust other than in His name. For He hath promised that if ye will bear witness in thy body, thy mind, of His purposes with thee, He will walk and talk with thee. Believest thou that others might do as well? (1440-2)

    1. General

22. In the present may the entity understand and gain that, though the powers are manifest of all natures in the earth, they are the gift of the ONE God, of the ONE universal force; and MAN alone makes those deviations for self's own purposes, self's own aggrandizement. But His promises are sure, "Though ye be far away, when ye call I will hear." And the power that thou may raise within thine self to bring is not of thine own making; thou art but the channel. Give the praise, my son, to the Father THROUGH the Son of light, THROUGH the Son of man, the lowly Nazarene! (707-1)


8. (Q) That is all of the questions in this reading.
(A) We are through with this reading for the present for much may be given to the entity as respecting its (the entity's) development, mentally, spiritually, physically.

Use that in hand - for the simple rod stretched over the mighty sea became the power in the hands of him who walked with the Creative Energy - God. The withered rod became the budded almond in the hands of him who sought to know His ways, and applied same in the life. Keep thine paths straight. Walk in the shadow of His wing. Keep thine eyes, thine heart, ever to that source from which emanates all power that lifts man toward the Creator. (39-3)


4. (Q) In a previous reading, you told this body that he himself was a psychic. You will tell him how he will develop this psychic ability.
(A) As has been given, we have in the material world the two known and accepted conditions. The body and the material world. The projection from the body or from a material world is of that unknown element called psychic. See?

We have those forces in the mental, or soul forces that with the spirit inside of entity shall manifest itself, that the phenomena or psychic forces become perceptible to the individual entity. The training, the knowledge, the understanding of such forces may be developed in this body through certain lines that are as sure conditions. As given, in this manner and form, may same be developed, giving a certain given period to concentrate his body physically, mentally, entering the silence. Come apart from the outside world, the thoughts, perceptions of the outside forces, alone entering into the silence [see: section on meditation] for 15 to 20 minutes each day at first. See?

Giving the body the time, the spirit forces of such entity aside, and then enter into the magic silence and instantly force those projections from the manifested forces of the world, of material, of psychic, those conditions that will make to the individual the understanding, the knowledge of the psychic forces as are in the world, and that may be made manifested in this individual entity [137]. For with each entering in through concentrations, with awakening of that entity forces quick arising conditions that arise through such a condition as has manifested through psychic forces. The use of such forces in a material world is the greater gift of any entity. This body would understand from this conception the perception of such knowledge and the use of same.

In this manner may the body fully understand such conditions. Well that these be guided by that injunction as will be found in the last verse of Deuteronomy 29, and the whole chapter of 30.

5. (Q) Where shall this body take this solitude, when concentrating?
(A) Any place the body may choose, being alone, and in the same place each day.

6. (Q) Is any such hour suggested for this concentration?
(A) No, any hour, only using the same hour each day, entering with the supplication to the Giver of all good and perfect gifts.

7. (Q) How can this body learn to concentrate as suggested?
(A) This is the special gift of this entity. Through the supplications set aside the cares, the thoughts, of the outside world and study those conditions that mind enters at such concentrations, at times and certain times that come through the mental forces of the body.

8. (Q) After this has been developed, how can the psychic power of this body be used?
(A) In developing same in the lives of others, not to become as one that would be evil-spoken of, but that that gives the other living possession of the holy one within the lives of each and every individual that will awaken to the indwelling of Him who gives life to all.

9. (Q) Is it pre-ordained that this body should have the use of this power?
(A) Pre-ordained in that entity, as gained through this mode and manner of conducting this will, with that of the Divine Spirit as is given in injunction "My spirit beareth witness with your spirit, whether ye be the sons of God or not." In this entity this has been kept, and the body keeps the living way within itself and presents the body, soul and spirit, holy and acceptable unto Him, which is a reasonable service.

10. (Q) How long will it be necessary for the body to go into these solitudes before this body will have the use of a psychic power?
(A) Twenty to thirty days.

11. (Q) After these periods of concentration, what should be done to develop the body's psychic power?
(A) For those particular injunctions that come to the individual self in such moments, same may be used in the material and in the psychic way, so long as it is done in an unselfish manner. (137-3)

    1. Ability to see the unseen

16. Before this the entity was in the Scotch land. The entity began its activity as a prodigy, as one already versed in its associations with the unseen - or the elemental forces; the fairies and those of every form that do not give expression in a material way and are only seen by those who are attuned to the infinite. (2547-1)

    1. Automatic Writing

27. (Q) Please give counsel regarding the entity's automatic writing.
(A) Go slow, and ONLY by HIS guiding counsel, His hope, may there come aid through such activity. In His name; let that which comes be given ONLY in HIS name - ONLY in His name. (295-8)


53. (Q) Do I have any psychic ability, such as a gift for automatic writing, which I can develop, and is this desirable?
(A) As we find, it is MORE desirable to develop inspirational writing than automatic. If there is the turning within, in the fields of activity as we have indicated, especially through those periods outlined, this should become as an inspired activity. Do not trust to automatic - for it opens the self to low influences. (2170-1)


21. (Q) What is the significance of the flashes and forms which I frequently see?
(A) Those of the higher vibrations of inter-between, as well as spiritual forces taking forms in or before the mental self.

22. (Q) Should I develop automatic handwriting?
(A) We would not advise it! Too easily is it misleading, especially when there are so many flashes about. Rather that of intuitive force, that may be guided by higher sources. (281-4)


15. (Q) [2125]: You told me [262-24, Par. 17-A] that anyone could do automatic writing. Will you please tell me how I may develop it?
(A) By practice. Sit alone with pencil and paper, and let that guide that may be sought - or may come in - direct. It will come. Anyone may; but is it the better may oft be the question? This may only be the better when surrounding self with those influences that may bring those of the CONSTRUCTIVE forces alone. (262-25)


7. To this particular entity, the mystic or the hidden life is of the greater interest; and there is often seen and experienced by the intuitive influence of the body those experiences that to others, whom the entity even expresses self to, are not understood or comprehended - and these become confusing at times, even to the entity. As we find, these may be the better acquired, the better obtained, the better understood even by self, were they obtained in the manner as of AUTOMATIC WRITING. Best that this be done, of course, alone, and in the small hours of the morning, or in the early twilight - ALWAYS in shadows. (268-3)


3. (Q) Should body-mind attempt to develop powers for automatic writing as a means for expressing either his intuition or messages from guiding spirits or the universal forces?
(A) When all conditions are considered, as we find, for the better development of the body in the present - and the mental and material consciousnesses that are innate forces within the activities of the body, the developments more along the line of that wholly accredited to intuitive influences would be better for this body than that in the broader term called automatic message.

And, as we find, this would be the manner of procedure in such a development for the body:

First, under the circumstances and conditions that surround the body, it would be well that an hour or period be chosen for such activities when there is quiet, and when the mental and material body may become perfectly relaxed.

Then, enter into the silence with some form of rote that is rather in the form of a prayer, or as an affirmation to the inner self, that the forces or powers that may manifest through self at such a period may ever magnify the presence of not only constructive influence, but from the throne of grace and mercy itself.

And such periods should be chosen as an exact period. Say (as an illustration), 10:00 to 10:30 o'clock in the evening, the period is chosen.

Sit with a subdued or shaded light, with paper, pencil, or materials before self at a desk or table.

Enter then in this silence, each evening, at this specific time.

What is given, or that [which] as an impelling influence causes to write, WRITE; and do not re-read, but put away for at least the period until it is given from within to review or to go over that which has been given.

We will find, this is as being of the intuitive or psychic influences from within self; but impelled by that of the higher influence, higher force that may manifest into individuals' experience that seek His face. And closes self to those influences that may interrupt or cause their own individual expression. But making self a channel for these influences.

Do not grow weary if in turns with self nothing comes for perhaps days, or that much is given at one period in the beginning and little or nothing later. Be true to self, not to read nor HAVE read that written - until it is GIVEN thee to do so. (282-5)

    1. Crystal Ball

14. (Q) Will I develop any psychic power by looking into a crystal ball?
(A) If there is ever held that only that which is of the Christ-making may be presented there. The crystal offers rather the concentration of the physical powers, and thus offers many channels for the entering in of many an influence; yet if it is held only in His name, in His right [rite?], MUCH may be received there.

15. (Q) Give guidance that will help me to develop this.
(A) Rather presumptuous is this to take this means first, but rather before know that there has been the still small voice from within that "He will guide." Then, if it is chosen for a more perfect way, place the crystal upon a background of royal purple and with subdued lights that would come from over the left shoulder - and not from the front. Then passing the hands over the ball or crystal, in such a manner as to cover the surface with the emanations of the power that is raised from the physical body by deep meditation, then look - look - and behold HIS face may appear, HIS directing spirit may lead thee; and again may there be opened the vistas of light that may guide others. And ever, when such is done, in the recesses of the heart give the glory to the Father - and not to self.

16. (Q) Should a colored light be used?
(A) No. Preferably a six to ten watt light. Clear white. (275-39)

9. The lyden, [leydig] or 'closed gland', is the keeper - as it were - of the door, that would loose and let either passion or the miracle be loosed to enable those seeking to find the Open Door, or the Way to find expression in the attributes of the imaginative forces in their manifestation in the sensory forces of a body; whether to fingertips that would write, to eyes that would see, to voice that would speak, to the whole of the system as would feel those impressions that are attuned with those the infinite by their development and association or with those inter-between, or those just passed over, or as to the unseen forces; for the world of unconsciousness is not in a material change from the physical world save as to its attributes or of its relationships with. Whether the vision has been raised or lowered depends upon that height, depth, breadth or length, it has gone for its source of supply. (294-140)


30. (Q) What degree of psychic power have I, if any?
(A) Degree? HARDLY, my friend, may these powers be called DEGREES! For there is the raising within self of those influences that may make known even the MYSTERIES of old. But let these be tempered, my brother, with those truths thou gained in that prison wall. The abilities to heal, the abilities to teach, the abilities to minister, ALL are thine! As to degrees - to the nth; yea, to the tenth degree may they be manifest in thee! (707-1)

    1. Exorcism

9. (Q) Yet the [139] mind had unlimited faith and I tried and seemed almost to succeed - then failed. Why?
(A) In the same manner as the Why as was sought by those ten who, though in the presence of the Master, failed to cast out the demon. Not that the power was not sufficient, even as was demonstrated by the Master, but that that doubt - that doubt - that remains in the background of the finite mind of man, for of the earth is earthy. More power to him who would gain that full consciousness that would not turn aside when brought with the Master for the elements of earthly position, condition, or favor, see? Just as the Why did the entity turn aside when in place of earthly position and leave the Master to pass on and seek the friendship even of those not known, yet desiring to impress same with the importance of the position of the body itself, see? and so in faith, so in the application of that ability to pass from one consciousness to another that healing force in the material plane, and - as is seen - there must be the full union of the forces, see? (900-315)


5. Now, we find the treasure is there, and it will be located when the individual through whom the information comes sets self in order, in applying self to those principles; for we have, as it were, a criterion, or an ensample, in the question as asked the Master, "Why could not WE cast this demon out?" The answer was, "Only with fasting1 and prayer," or coming closer to those infinite binds of the spiritual of the individual to those sources, and in the application of same will then the individual be able to give that necessary; for the treasure remains there as put, and in that place will it be found. Ready for questions. (996-8)


13. (Q) Please explain how to heal an epileptic, and are they possessed by an unclean spirit? If so, should we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, and to no more enter? ["Unclean spirit" Par. 13-Q, 15-Q prompted by EC's correspondence with Dr. N. H. Prouty, M.D., who had given a lifetime of study to magnetic healing.]
(A) There are various characterizations in those that are termed epileptics. Some arise from one condition, some from another. Some are indeed possessed with an uncleanness from those of the moral life in that that has been projected, or that brings life in its essence itself, and then become epileptics, MEETING in self those very conditions that have been as omissions in its experiences in the earth; bringing then that necessity that others in aiding COMMAND, demand, in the Name, that these be cast out. Too, there are those that need the body vibrations each day, that these may be made whole by the laying on of hands, which will require some two, three to four weeks, that will bring an understanding and a change in the body, or bodies, that will make for wholeness of purpose. One, then, that with the aid of others - or by self - brings such, SAVES one from much that hinders.

14. (Q) As a group, are we reaching that consciousness of His presence in healing, which should come to the group to make their selves one in purpose? If not, how?
(A) This, as we find, as a group has been rather of the spasmodic nature. Individuals have been raised high; others have been lacking, or lax, in cooperative measures - yet much has been, may be, accomplished. Faint not, nor find fault not, one with another. PRAY, rather, one with another.

15. (Q) How may epileptics possessed by an unclean spirit be designated or be known?
(A) As to whether there be consciousness or not THROUGH the falling, or spell. Those that are unconscious are possessed, or are possessed during that unconsciousness - see? Such need, then, the raising of daily vibration. This may be accomplished by placing the left hand over the abdominal region and the right hand over the 9th and 10th dorsal or solar plexus ganglia, and so held for half to three-quarters of an hour each day. It will leave! (281-4)

    1. Incorruptibility

6. (Q) Please discuss in detail the functions of the pineal gland.
(A) If this is discussed from the anatomical viewpoint, in the fetus as is begun in first of gestation, we find this may be termed as the Builder. As is seen, the location of same is in the beginning in that of the center or the nucleus about which all of the matter takes its first form, and becomes the brain as is guiding or directing the building of the body as its development in the womb takes place. As it then reaches from the umbilical cord to the brain, there is builded that as is centered about same by the physical attributes of that progenerated from those bringing such an action into being. When there has reached that stage when there is the separation of same, the cord then being broken, this forms then its own basis in the lower portion of the brain, or cerebellum, and through the medulla oblongata to the central portion of the cerebro-spinal cord itself is held intact, and with the removal of same, or pressure on same, the various forms of hallucinations are evident, whether in the developing stage or when it has reached the elderly or older years in an experience. Its functioning, then, is as that, of that, which makes for - or known as - the impulse or imaginative body. Hence one that may be called demented by others, who has hallucinations from a pressure in some portions, may be visioning that which to him is as real (though others may call him crazy) as to those who are supposed to have an even balance of their senses; which [such visioning?] has been formed by the circulation, or the activity of the gland - as it is called - in its incipiency, until it becomes - or is - as a mass without apparent functioning. If the imaginative body, or the trained body (as is called in a material world) is, trained constantly away FROM the activities of same, it - in natural consequence of things in physical being - draws, as it were, within self. Hence senility sets in. Keep the pineal gland operating and you won't grow old - you will always be young!

In this activity, then, as is seen, there is within the genital organs the activity through that as may be called the lyden gland, [Leydig] which has within itself that closed door, or open door, as makes for activity through that to the base of the brain, or the PINEAL gland - as is at the base of the brain itself - which opens up for its activities and associations to those other portions of the brain; that sends out its sensations either through the sensory organism or the sympathetic organism, or the purely physical organism. For they may all act upon, or BE acted upon, for they are a portion of, and kindred of - (now remember, we are speaking from the physical standpoint, or pathological standpoint!) - and are the active forces and active principles in the activities and repulsions, or the actions, of individuals! As these are the activities that come directly from the organs of reproduction, hence, we find many instances where psychic forces or developments of the individuals, or of an entity, these become abused - or are used in a way and manner as to bring about abuses that make for degenerate reactions, as is considered by individuals, in their various forms or activities to the moral forces as may be set by individuals; but are to the individual the activities of a nature that is an action of, or an impulse of, the organs or functionings that are active through the functioning of the gland itself! Hence we have the variations in functionings of same. Now, as these are turned - or there is the seed, or that within same that may be awakened that makes for those impulses known as attributes that may be added to, that makes for the spiritual life first in that of faith as an opening, that of hope, then to virtue, then to knowledge, then to brotherly love, then to understanding, then to the Christ Consciousness, then to LOVE itself - which was manifest in the body of the Virgin that brought into being that through the concept of, or the conception through the Holy Spirit, by raising that consciousness within same as to PRODUCE that within the organs of the body itself that BECAME, as it were, the begotten of the Father! (294-141)


6. Then, the continuation of those as will be found in the use of that as has been given, and in keeping the stimuli sufficient in those of the upper dorsal and cervical region as to stimulate the circulation through same, both with the light, with the manipulation, with the application, these will AID the body IN its activity from within self to reach that consciousness. Then continue within self in that silence as may be attained by turning self as introspective and seeing that as is necessary to be rebuilt within the system, acting in such a way and manner as to rebuild same. THROUGH this MAY one keep themselves young; may one REBUILD WITHIN themselves and prolong the PHYSICAL forces as is desired IN self! Ready for questions - we want to ask some here!

7. (Q) One, then, may in truth, by such application, remain in the physical as long as is desired?
(A) May remain in the physical as long as the ability lies within self to so apply the forces from without and within as to build or bring resuscitation to all forces from within, and, as desire is the father of ACTIVITY, so is that brought INTO activity become life itself. Nothing grows, nothing remains alone unless dead. A mind, a body that sits alone and considers the outside and never turning that within to the out, nor that without from within, soon finds DROSSES setting up in the system; for development is change. Change is the activity of knowledge from within. Learn to LIVE! Then there IS no death, save the transition, when desired. See?

8. (Q) Then it is true, such individuals that I have been reading about and studying have actually lived in physical form for thousands of years as they testify in these writings?
(A) MANY live who have never died as yet!

9. (Q) Then also it is true, one may preserve youth?
(A) One may preserve youth, even as is desired, will they pay the PRICE as is NECESSARY; but one adding this, that, or the other to the system to become congenial with that known from within self is an abnormality to itself, must pay its price.

10. (Q) That is, one must consider the diet, as well as application of knowledge obtained from within?
(A) To be sure! (900-465)


11. Urges arise, then, not only from what one eats but from what one thinks; and from what one does about what one thinks and eats! as well as what one digests mentally and spiritually!

12. The weaknesses that exist in this particular body are a projection of those conditions which existed in the great grandfather of the entity, in an experience in the earth; and has to do with those elements bearing upon the hormones of the blood force itself. And in the body, [2533], it exhibits itself as a tendency.

13. To eradicate, to eliminate such from the body, is to be interpreted from that given in the beginning; "Be ye fruitful, multiply, but SUBDUE" the tendencies, the inclinations, "the earth." For, in manifestation in the earth of spiritual and mental forces, it partakes of the earth. And the earth is earthy, as it changes, as it is in constant change.

14. And that which bespeaks of longevity in a body bespeaks of each cell, each atomic structure, each of the corpuscles being able to reproduce itself WITHOUT those tendencies or inclinations of racial or environmental conditions, but as one purified or cleansed for that continuity of experience within itself.

15. Knowing these tendencies, these weaknesses, does not then indicate that there are those bugaboos continually before the entity. For, these are left behind when ye do that ye know to do, and leave undone those things ye must or else pay the price of neglect, over-indulgence, gratification for the moment that there may be the satisfying of an appetite or tendency as may exist in the body!

16. Here we find the necessity for care, for exercise, for constant checking up on the bodily activities; not daily, necessarily - but we remember that the body-physical alters in its expression continually, and by the end of a cycle of seven years it has entirely replaced that which existed at the beginning of the period seven years ago. Replaced with what? The same old tendencies multiplied, the same old inclinations doubled - or eradicated?

17. This depends, then, upon those activities as related to the influences or tendencies which exist. For, as may be told by any pathologist, there is no known reason why any individual entity should not live as long as it desires. And there is no death, save in thy consciousness. Because all others have died, ye expect to - and you do! These are a part of thy consciousness, in what? In the mental, in the spiritual - and the physical reacts to same. [See 2533-6, Par. R3 in re "The Bantu Die at Will", etc.] (2533-6)


3. (Q) Is it wise for me to attempt rejuvenation of this body, thereby fitting myself to teach rejuvenation to others?
(A) Much might be given as respecting the varied ideas that have been and are presented by many as to rejuvenation in the material body. The better manner, to be sure, is the PRESERVATION - which is not only as a first law but is the more comely in its application. To be sure, as it has been indicated again and again, there is that within the physical forces of the body - if it is kept in a constructive way and manner - which may be revivified or rejuvenated and kept in a constructive way and manner. This requires, necessarily, the proper thinking, the proper living, the proper application of those influences in the experience of an ENTITY in its associations with everything about a body.

So, body-building may be applied in this body, as it may in any; that there are those influences in the experience of all which would be applicable to the life - or experience of a life - in the material plane, and that which applies individually from what has BEEN the experience in all of any given entity's development.

Then, it would be well for the entity to so live and so present the body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Him, the Giver of all good and perfect gifts; it is but a reasonable service. But we would not set metes or bounds for others as to what they are to do, or are to become; these may only be reasoned with or counseled with, and each must choose for itself. For one that sets self up as an example becomes duty bound, becomes responsible for that which is taught in one's own experience. (681-2)


17. (Q) Please explain, "He with the cross, represents something in the experience of every entity in their activities through the earth and has led in all the experiences of thought in any of the presented forms of truth in the earth and comes at last to the cross."
(A) As we have given, and as was given by Him, in the beginning He was the Son - MADE the Son - those of the Sons that went astray; and through the varying activities overcame the world through the EXPERIENCES, BEARING the cross in each and every experience, reaching the FINAL cross with ALL power, ALL knowledge in having overcome the world - and of Himself ACCEPTED the Cross. Hence doing away with that often termed karma, that must be met by all. The immutable law of cause and effect is, as evidenced in the world today, in the material, the mental and the spiritual world; but He - in overcoming the world, the law - became the Law. The law, then, becomes as the schoolmaster, or the school of training - and we who have NAMED the Name, then, are no longer UNDER the law as law, but under mercy as in Him; for in Him - and with the desires - may there be made the COORDINATION of all things.

Remember the pattern in the mount, in self, in the physical body, in the mental body, in the spiritual body. THAT is the mount! So long as there is perfect coordination in the mount, all things work together for the GOOD of the mount. When there is the rebellion in the mount, then there is disconnection, destruction, disconcerted effort, and the coordination - the cooperation of activity - is made awry. Hence death in the physical ensues, by the disintegration, through the disconcerted action, through the INCOORDINATED action and this mental, and physical, and spiritual.

So, in overcoming all He set that as the Throne, or the mercy seat, that is within the temple, as the pattern, as in the mount - and in the mount, "I WILL arise and go to my Father, in Him, through Him. I WILL! I WILL! (262-36)

    1. Prophecy

7. For the entity takes most every experience by intuition. Easily may the entity, by entering deep meditation raise the kundaline [kundalini] forces in body to the third eye as to become a seeress; so that it may see the future and the past. But the law of such is that, unless these are used for constructive and never for selfish motives or purposes, they will bring more harm than good. (5028-1)


4. For as we find this entity has more than once been among those who were gifted with what is sometimes called second sight, or the super-activity of the third eye. Whenever there is the opening, then, of the lyden (Leydig) center and the kundaline forces from along the pineal, we find that there are visions of things to come, of things that are happening. (4087-1)

    1. Protection

30. (Q) How can I be completely protected while levitating?
(A) Surrounding thyself with the Christ-consciousness. Living daily in that consciousness by thy dealings with others. Did He find fault?

Do ye? Did He question purposes? Do ye? Do ye love those who hate thee? He did. Do you keep the words, "Not of myself but my Father who worketh in and through me" as thy ideal? He did. He is thy pattern. That is thy protection ever. For it is in Him ye live and move and have thy being.
Ye know that - act like it! (2982-4)


17. (Q) Are the methods I am using at present correct and will they lead to mental and spiritual progress?

16. (Q) How can I discern the helpful entities or forces from those forces that would do me harm?
(A) In each experience ask that they acknowledge the life, the death, the resurrection of the Jesus, the Christ.1 They that answer only as in the affirmative; otherwise, "Get thee behind me I will have no part with thee. Through His name only WILL I, [422], ACCEPT direction!" (422-1)

45. (Q) Since I am definitely drawn to occult things, how can I free myself from the fear instilled by an early horoscope which stated that in turning to anything psychic I might open myself to the influences of black magic?
(A) No better formula may be given than this: Read Deuteronomy 30th,2 as being directed to thee BY those influences ye helped establish among a great peoples.

Then study and analyze John 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th. Not as rote, again, but as a PRACTICAL experience, as may be the experience of any soul that seeks to make that creative force, God, as manifested there, the rule of the life.

No greater psychic lived than Jesus of Nazareth. No greater activity was manifested than by the entity itself in that directing of the household of its own sons; two of which practised black magic and were destroyed. These build that fear. In Him it is eradicated. (2630-1)

    1. Spirit Communication

16. (Q) What physical thing may an individual do to be able to communicate with those that have passed into the spirit plane?
(A) Lay aside the carnal or sensuous mind and desire that those who would use that mentality, that soul, for its vehicle of expression, do so in the manner chosen by that soul; for some communicate in act, in sight, in movement, in voice, in writing, in drawing, in speaking, and in the various forces as are manifest - for force is ONE force.


8. (Q) Why are communications so much more frequent in Europe than America, also clearer, fuller?
(A) This should be a greater indication to the thinker of that so oft given, "Thoughts are things and may be miracles or crimes." Mind and thought are the builder, and upon that thought, that as made, may there be builded that through which there may be the greater source of the communications established. Then, this shows that variation in the spiritual-minded surroundings and the material-minded surroundings. From the first premise given, it is not to be reckoned that there is not the spirituality in those even that are called material-minded, but rather reason from that which has been given. Those that signify, testify, glorify the Giver of life are in the proper course. Those that glorify self are in that class that must be put away. (5756-8)
